Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of TV. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months before she moved into Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of acting roles, including local independent movies and commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor parts, the actress soon realized that she was drawn to acting. The year 2001 saw her move from the Midwest to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's morning soap opera in the role of Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000, her small parts were in JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role as her first part of a series on The Mountain which was which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. After a short period, she was transferred over to Law & Order: LA. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her performance that stood out on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko as the spouse of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. In the NBC's dramatic, dark show Do No Harm she played the character as the character Dr. Lena Solis. The show was later cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger twin brother Cory is 10 years older than her. Her family was the strict, religious home of her family. Milano began her professional career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter took her to an acting audition. The audition was attended by four girls from more than a thousand applicants. Milano has appeared on TV in commercials and off Broadway productions, including a musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
