Aubrey Plaza is an actress comedian and actress born June 26th 1984. She plays April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. It was with The Jeannie Tate Show when she began her online show following a sketch comedy show, improvised material and other forms of improvisation at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. In the following years, she starred as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People as well as Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Her birthday is today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the child of Bernadette Plaza, an attorney by profession and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her mother is Irish as well as English as was her father, who is from Puerto Rico. Plaza was a student at the Catholic girls school from 2002 until 2006. She then attended in 2006, she enrolled at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. As a student of the Wilmington Drama League, Plaza was the president of the Student Government. When she was during her sophomore year of college, Plaza had a stroke that resulted in her being diagnosed with expressive aphasia and a period of paralysis. She has recovered completely. Plaza has been performing comedy and sketch at the New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. Also, she's presented stand-up comedy shows at the Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza has appeared in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show in the role of Robin Gibney and was also featured as Ben Schwartz, as well being a character on Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions.
