Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Anna Gunn is a US actress. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio and she continued her love of the theatre. The theatre studies she pursued took place in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was spent at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the theatre in the Chicago area for several years, before attempting her hand at TV and film roles. Anna was selected to portray Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. The actress continued to make appearances as an actor in few TV movies and shows like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 90's when she was cast in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. In 2000, she was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral part of her acting career. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama called Numbered Days, which was released in 2022. The love story that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the story of Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and the eventual end of their relationship echoing the same storyline of Walter White's final days of life.
